Off Topic: Twilight!! and Pix!

Ok, so anyone who knows me well knows I am a HUGE reader. SUCH a nerd about it, ever since I was little. And if you know me you also know I'm a complete book snob. I hate when the whole world likes what I like way after the fact; yes I know I'm working on not being so selfish about it. But I also hate when they change INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT parts of books when turning them into TV shows and movies. Some of my favorite books from childhood and young adulthood have been victim of this; Gossip Girl and Harry Potter are at the top of this list. Leaving out crucial or vital plotlines of the books (ex, Serena’s older brother or Winky in HP4) totally throws off the book. Its what makes the books as great as they are! They shouldn’t change stuff. *huffs*

Sooo, that’s why I was so wary when Twilight got on everyone’s radar and was in the process of being a film. There wasn’t a day when I didn’t here some preteeny bopper tripping over it like OMG or some cheesy Facebook bumper sticker about it. It kinda put me off the movie. But slowly I’ve been pushing back my differences and today I decided to catch the 12:15 viewing of Twilight.

What originally put me off was when I first found out who was to be the female lead. I thought, “Here we go, another of my great books ruined by miscasting”. Like Bella. She is supposed to be descent, that’s how the book describes her. I think that stuff is important, like I said the little details in books are what makes them as great as they are. The actress they picked totally doesn't fit that to me, I was shocked when they picked her. Kristen Stewart to me always looks kinda cracked out. And her acting really isn’t up to par. Bella is an important part.

But, besides that. I really enjoyed the movie! There were parts when the awfulness of her as the character simply ruined some moments for me, but it was still an enjoyable movie. And if you haven’t read the books I’m sure you will love it. I’m a hard critic about book-to-movie films. Plus the amount of mancandy in the film was SO. ON. POINT. *sighs* Most of the male vampires and the native American guys were hotties. Totally worked in the movies favor lol. And the most important part to me, they really stayed true to the story. I was very impressed that they didn’t change anything too important. Plus the music was great.

Like I said I’m a book snob, I love reading. So much so that they do inspire me in real life, things wont just get outta my head. Like when naming my pets lol. A few months ago, I adopted a kitten from PetsMart and I named him Cullen. Cullen Alexander, actually and he is 7 months. And without further ado, my baby!

Miss Saecilia's Wedding

Hey!! Sorry I've been M.I.A, its been pretty hectic over here and I was having computer troubles! Hopefully thats all behind me and I can get back to posting for you wonderful people. Don't have much time right now, but wanted to show you a quick post.

I did a wedding in early September and I'm just now getting some pictures back. Thats pretty much a standard waiting period when getting wedding photos back, here's a few for you to look at, I'll post more in my online portfolio. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Miss Saecilia on her wedding day

As you can see I bring my own chair and lamp to my shoots. More on that later! =)

Makeup Shot! I swear I love my traincase, thats just the top half of it. Ren did a great review on it here. I got the hot pink crocodile skin case, but that was back in August and I think it is sold out now. I think now it comes in soft pink snake skin (adorable!), silver, and black at yazmo.com. I LOVE it, I recommend it to anyone.

Later, Loves!
