Updates: My Blog and Website: Now Separate!

Hey guys! When I first started my blog, I had the standard ".blogspot" address. As my site grew, I got advice on getting a custom domain to make it stand out, and I did. But now as I'm growing even bigger, I need to make some bigger changes.

Just Kiss 'N Makeup is the name of my brand and I will start getting it out there as such. I love my blog, but it isn't exactly the most professional place to send clients. This is the place where I can be fun, play my favorite songs of the moment, and bond with all my other beauty bloggers. So I have decided to go back to a ".blogspot" name.

The new web url for this blog is :

www.justkissnmakeup.blogspot.com

As for my www.justkissnmakeup.com, I will be transforming that to be my more professional site. I'll host my own portfolio and more contact information and credits.

Don't forget to add both. I think the people who follow this blog and who get email subscriptions are safe, but to all who follow the url for the blog, remember to use that one. Or you'll be transfered to my new site. Of course I'll have a link to the blog, but it'll save you that step =)

Two Lovers. One Apartment.

Hi again, everyone! Its late and I'm just getting home but I wanted to post some more photographs from my recent photo shoots. This shoot was a great one, one of my favorites so far.


Sharly S. and Matt P. are both newbies into the modeling game and we put together an amazing shoot. As far as their makeup goes, I really wanted it to be dramatic, but something similar on each. So that they look like a set. I gave her a deep smoky eye, edged his waterline, and smudged out both. We were kinda going for a "rich druggie playboy and his girlfriend" type look lol. Also, I've been working with this amazing photographer, Kito F. I'm simply loving his work. We went to the Four Seasons and took some brilliant photographs. Enjoy!

I know Its been a while, I have to be more regular in posting for you all. I've been doing a lot of shoots lately and have been heading out and trying new things. I did two very different photo shoots this weekend and I'm really loving the edginess of this one. More editorial. I'm really heading in that direction more and I'm LOVING IT! I'm working with some great photographers and clients and I expect to have more pictures back soon.

Here are some pictures of a shoot I did just this Saturday. The model's name is Arielle and I love her look. Big love to LK with the photography. She is AMAZING.

I took the plunge, I cut my hair. I did it. Its never been this short before. It was kind of a quick decision also. But now I can start fresh with it and my hair, when taken care of, grows pretty fast. What do you guys think?

Trash The Dress: Lorrie's Shoot

Hey Hey Hey! Hey Girl Hey!

Lol idk, I just had to bust that out on yall. So here is the shoot I did with Lorrie a few months back. Shes a new bride and was so excited to be doing a Trash the Dress shoot. Her dress was gorgeous so she planned on not getting it too ruined. She was a dream to do makeup for also. She's a naturally beautiful girl and I only helped accentuate that. The shoot was SO hot and bright, I got sunburned (I never tan, ugh). We first went to some abandoned railroad cars and she posed near them, I think its such a cute concept. After that we went to a graffiti-filled parking lot. She never lost energy! Even hours after we started she kept on delivering great shots! I hope you enjoy them!
